COUPONING IN BABY STEPS - THIS WEEK'S COUPON INSERTS

Hi Couponers!  If you've come to one of my classes lately, I've decided to slow it down a bit for new couponers.  In my newspaper this week - The Augusta Chronicle - I got 4 inserts, 2 Red Plum and 2 Smart Source.  Just browsing through the inserts I wanted to point out a couple of coupons that you will want to cut out and save.

First Insert was Red Plum

Out of this insert, you will want to cut out 3 coupons immediately.  Here they are:

Country Crock.  Most grocery stores have the small containers of Country Crock on sale for around $1.00 alot.  If you shop at a store that doubles coupons, then the coupon above would be worth $.80.  That would make your butter only $.20.  Save this coupon as it doesn't expire until 5/15 and as soon as I see it on sale I will let everyone know.  I NEVER pay more than $.25 for butter...EVER!

Next coupons are:

Degree Deodorant.  Target has the trial sizes of the above items for only $.97.  Note that there is not a size on either coupon so this means FREE deodorant for you!!  Also, if you wanted the regular size deodorant, Degree Deodorant is on sale for a little over $2.00 in Target.  If you use the above coupon and also use a store coupon which is available on Target's website HERE for $1.00 off here, you should be able to pay less than $.50 for a full size deodorant.

Next Insert - Red Plum

Only 1 coupon I really saw to cut out now:

Goodlife Cat Food.  Note that the photo shows bags, but you can use this coupon for ANY cat food from The Good Life.  Target sells the wet cat food for only about $.79 a package, so you could make $.21 from purchasing it.  Don't have a cat?  Consider buying it and giving it to a friend who does or donate to your local animal shelter.  Most other stores sell this also, so it should be FREE everywhere.

The airwick compact dispenser is on sale at Walgreens this week for 50% off.  The compact one is regularly only $7.99, so it should make it only $4.00.  With these coupons, you should be able to score 2 for FREE!!

Riteaid has Airwick sprays on sale this week B1G1 FREE, with this coupon you can get 2 FREE!!!! A reminder - every drug store that has a B1G1 FREE sale will take a B1G1 Coupon and you will get 2 for FREE of whatever item it is! 

Last Insert - Smart Source

Good Coupons in this insert were:

CVS has the GE Energy Smart bulbs for $2.99 with a $2.00 Extra Care Bucks given this week making it only $.99.  If you use the $1.00 coupon above, it would make the light bulb FREE!



Publix has Yoplait Fiber One Yogurt on sale this week B1G1.  It is only $1.00 each.  Because they double coupons, this would make the yogurt FREE!!



Sister Shubert's Rolls are great!  Most grocery stores have them on sale this week for $2.50.  If your grocery store doubles then with this coupon they would only be $1.50.  If you like Ryans yeast rolls, these taste just as good!!

As you can see, this weeks Inserts were well worth the $1.50 that the paper costs.  I hope this little tidbit helps you going this week!
